Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
F0 Stuck keypad key Medium The oven and surface controls become unresponsive, making it impossible to start or change a cooking function. View F1 Oven sensor fault High The oven turns off unexpectedly during baking or broiling and displays F1 on the control panel. View F2 Oven over-temperature High The oven cuts out abruptly during baking or broiling, displaying F2, often after the oven feels hotter than normal. View F3 Open sensor circuit High The oven fails to produce any heat when bake or broil is selected; the control reads no temperature signal and shuts the element off immediately. View F4 Shorted sensor circuit High The oven begins a heating cycle but shuts down within seconds because the control reads an implausibly high temperature from the shorted sensor. View F5 Door latch fault Medium The oven door cannot be opened after a self-clean cycle; the latch does not retract even after the oven has cooled. View F6 Analog-to-digital converter failure High Oven does not heat or stops heating mid-cycle despite the display appearing normal. View F7 Stuck function key Medium Bake, broil, or another cooking mode starts without the user pressing the key, as though the control pad is being held down. View F8 Door lock mechanism failure Medium Oven door will not lock at the start of or during the self-clean cycle. View F9 Door latch timeout Medium The self-clean cycle begins its startup sequence but cancels itself within a few minutes and displays F9, without the oven reaching self-clean temperatures. View F76 Control communication fault High Gas surface burners will not light or do not click for ignition, even when the oven is not in use. View
