Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom

E1 Fan motor current fault High The blower fan audibly decelerates and may come to a complete stop mid-operation, with reduced airflow or no airflow from the vent even though the hood remains powered. View E2 Air quality sensor fault Low The hood's auto mode no longer increases fan speed when steam or smoke is detected during cooking, leaving ventilation at a fixed level that may be insufficient for the current cooking conditions. View E3 LED lighting circuit fault Low Pressing the lighting control button produces no illumination from the LED arrays in the capture hood, even though the fan and other controls continue to operate normally. View E4 Motor overload / thermal protection Medium Range hood blower stops operating mid-use while the cooking surface is still active, and will not restart. View
