Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
C1 Water leak detected High You may notice water seeping onto the kitchen floor from beneath the toe-kick panel, indicating moisture has reached the base drip tray. View C2 Drain timeout / long drain Medium Opening the door at the end of a cycle reveals an inch or more of standing water sitting in the bottom of the tub instead of an empty, dry interior. View C3 Fill timeout / long fill Medium Because the tub never filled properly, the spray arms had insufficient water to circulate, leaving dishes greasy, spotted, or completely uncleaned. View C4 Temperature sensor fault Medium Without accurate temperature data, the control board cannot regulate water heating correctly, resulting in dishes that are not sanitized and a heated dry cycle that is ineffective. View C5 Not draining properly Medium Opening the door during or after a cycle reveals a noticeable amount of water sitting in the tub base, sometimes mixed with food particles and detergent foam. View C6 Water temperature too hot Medium Opening the door mid-cycle or immediately after a fault releases a large cloud of very hot steam, and the interior surfaces are noticeably hotter than usual to the touch. View C7 Turbidity sensor fault Low Without valid turbidity data, the control board cannot auto-adjust the cycle, causing cycles to default to maximum length or terminate prematurely, resulting in either over-washing or under-washing. View C8 Detergent dispenser fault Low At the end of the cycle, opening the door reveals the detergent compartment still contains the intact tablet or undissolved powder, confirming the dispenser door did not open during the wash phase. View C9 Leak detected / water in base pan High Water is visible on the kitchen floor beneath or in front of the dishwasher toe-kick panel. View PF Power failure / cycle interrupted Medium Dishwasher displays PF and remains paused when the kitchen power is restored after an outage or tripped breaker. View
